Learn more about the cycles and how they are structured across the calendar.

We program in cycles, and every cycle points toward the Open. Our goal is to make training FUN, CHALLENGING and BALANCED
Slow strength comes first. Then more powerful lifting and Olympic weightlifting. Then the fitness phase, where the focus shifts to metabolic conditioning. Across a year, that develops all ten general physical skills in an order that builds on itself rather than pulling in different directions.
Cycles run four to seven weeks. We keep them short on purpose.
We use cycles to give members goals, but we keep them short and very specific so members know exactly what they will be doing and when, and are not overwhelmed by huge time commitments. Cycles always include one to two transition weeks so members can shake off the intense focus and return to more GPP.
Read it before the cycle starts so your coaching team fully grasps the cycle, what to expect and what the schedule will be.
Read it before the cycle starts, not during. It is the single most useful thing your coaching team can do to make the next six weeks run smoothly, and it takes ten minutes.
Our aim with every outline is to give you enough information that it feels like you wrote the program yourself.
