Justin Cotler is HWPO’s Director of Coaching, bringing over 16 years of experience leading athletes and teams to success at the highest level. As the founder of Underdogs Athletics, he has coached multiple podium finishers at the CrossFit® Games, along with numerous semifinal and major event champions. Previously, Justin owned CrossFit Dynamix for a decade and served as head coach of the DC Brawlers in the National Pro Grid League, winning two league titles. Known for his ability to inspire and maximize potential, Justin is recognized for building both performance and culture. Beyond coaching, he’s a devoted husband and father—values that drive his purpose and leadership every day.

A lifelong competitor, mother of three, and former Division I soccer captain, Colette Casey brings leadership and experience both on and off the competition floor. After her collegiate career at Florida State and coaching tenure at UC Irvine, Colette found CrossFit® in 2012 and has been immersed in the sport ever since—coaching, managing gyms, and competing at an elite level. She qualified for Semifinals in 2022 and stood on the podium at the 2023 CrossFit® Games in the Masters 35–39 division. Colette now channels her experience into developing athletes across divisions, including CrossFit® Games individual competitor Shahad Budebs.

Griffin Roelle has spent more than 15 years coaching strength and conditioning, developing both elite CrossFit® athletes and championship-level teams. A three-time CrossFit® Games competitor, both individually and on a team, he once earned the title of the strongest athlete in the field. Before CrossFit®, Griffin was an accomplished football player, winning a national championship in college and ranking as Georgia’s top high school receiver. His athletic journey fuels his approach to coaching: combining technical precision with relentless work ethic. Griffin’s mission is to help athletes become the best version of themselves—stronger, more resilient, and ready to perform when it matters most.

Nick Burns has been part of the CrossFit® community for over a decade as both an athlete and a coach. His experience spans high school athletics, everyday fitness, and the elite competitive scene—helping athletes of all levels develop their performance, confidence, and skill. What drives Nick is athlete development: the process of unlocking potential and breaking barriers. Whether he’s preparing an athlete for the sport’s biggest stage or helping someone qualify for their first event, his purpose remains the same—to provide the structure, belief, and strategy needed to go further than they ever imagined.

Casey Acree is an elite adaptive athlete and coach with a degree in Exercise Science and nearly a decade of coaching experience. Since beginning remote coaching in 2015, Casey has helped athletes at every level, from Semifinals contenders to Adaptive and Age Group Games competitors, break through plateaus and reach new heights. As a three-time CrossFit® Games champion in the Upper Extremity division and founder of his own individual design gym, Casey understands what it takes to perform under pressure. His approach is data-driven, individualized, and rooted in helping athletes realize what they’re truly capable of.

After a collegiate rugby career, Brendan Snyder dove headfirst into CrossFit®, a transition that quickly became an obsession. Over the past decade, he has coached athletes across all levels, from committed weekend warriors to Semifinals and Games-level competitors. Having worked under elite coaches such as Michele Letendre and Justin Cotler, Brendan brings a refined understanding of strength and conditioning, athlete psychology, and long-term development. He thrives on working with driven, disciplined athletes who want to reach their highest potential. His coaching blends science, experience, and relentless accountability to push each athlete beyond what they thought possible.

Jake Douglas has spent over a decade coaching and competing in CrossFit®, guiding athletes from their first class to the CrossFit® Games stage. A gym owner for more than 10 years, Jake has also coached athletes through multiple Sanctionals, Semifinals, and international competitions. Beyond CrossFit®, he has developed state, national, and international-level Olympic Weightlifters. As an athlete, Jake has represented Australia in weightlifting and competed at major CrossFit® events worldwide, including an individual CrossFit® Games appearance in 2023. His coaching philosophy is built on hard work, discipline, and the belief that excellence is earned—never given.
