The seven programs

Seven programs to provide you with variety for members and a complete training method

Every AFFILIATE subscription includes seven programs. You are not picking one. You are deciding which of them fit your schedule, your space and the members who walk through your door.

Most gyms start with CLASS and add from there. Here’s what’s included in your HWPO NameAFFILIATE subscription:

CLASS

Seven sessions a week, sixty minutes.

Your core training, and the program the cycles are built around. When a cycle outline describes a pull phase, it is describing what CLASS is doing.

Each session runs a warm-up, a two-part workout, and optional homework members can do outside class. Plans come with time stamps, extensive coaching notes, educational support, and movement or format substitutions wherever you need them.

The programming is guided by three pillars: balanced, challenging and fun. Across a cycle it develops strength, power, endurance and general physical preparedness.

SWEAT

Six sessions a week, sixty minutes.

Low skill, high intensity. HIIT-style full body work that scales to almost anybody.

SWEAT is built for gyms needing scalable classes that attract a broader range of members, and for members seeking lower-skill options or a quick, effective workout. It makes fitness approachable, engaging and FUN.

If you are trying to widen who your gym is for, this is the program that does it.

FOCUS

Eight week cycles, one skill at a time.

A new focus every eight weeks, dedicated to a specific skill or modality, with detailed coaching progressions built into every session.

It runs as a class or as semi-private training. We recommend semi-private. The individual attention is what makes a skill block work, and it builds the coach relationships that keep members in your gym.

This is also the program most gyms end up charging separately for. There is a full guide on running it as a product.

BODYBUILDING

Five sessions a week, sixty to ninety minutes.

Functional hypertrophy. Traditional bodybuilding principles combined with functional strength, focused on muscle, body composition and correcting structural imbalances.

This is for members who care about the pump and about how they look, rather than about the clock. Those members exist in every affiliate, and without a track like this they end up buying a second membership at a commercial gym. BODYBUILDING keeps them in your building.

EMOM 40

Twice a week, forty or twenty minutes

Aerobic conditioning combined with traditional CrossFit movements, in a fixed forty minute format. It was a staple of Mat Fraser's own training.

Use it for active recovery, for targeting weaknesses, or as a longer low-impact option for members who want volume without the pounding.

ACCESSORY

Two different sessions a week, sixty minutes each.

Upper and lower body strength, stability and joint resilience, built from unilateral movements, free weights and body weight work.

It complements everything else without adding overtraining risk, which is the whole point. This is the program that keeps your longer-tenured members training for long-term performance and injury prevention.

HYROX

Seven days a week.

A complete race program for members who want to get their toes wet in Hyrox races or simply have a higher paced workout

Each day has a defined focus: strength, conditioning, running, or mixed modalities. Run the full week or pick the days that fit your schedule. Either way each session stands on its own, with warm-ups, defined objectives and scaling guidance.

For members training HYROX exclusively, the week covers aerobic capacity, functional strength and race-specific preparation.

On the name. To call your classes HYROX officially, your gym needs to be a HYROX Affiliate and pay the affiliate fee directly to HYROX. Without that you can still run the programming under another name. Hybrid Classes and Fitness Racing both work.

Choosing what to run

All seven are included, so this is a scheduling decision rather than a purchasing one. HWPO AFFILIATE considers the practical limitations of space, equipment, time and your members' skill levels, so start with what your timetable and your floor can genuinely hold.
