Jake Douglas
Jake Douglas has owned a CrossFit® affiliate for over 10 years and has been coaching CrossFit® for the last 12 years. He has coached athletes of all abilities—notably, coaching a teenager and individual female from their first day of CrossFit® through to competing in the CrossFit Games. Jake has coached multiple people through sanctionals and semifinals as well.
Aside from CrossFit®, Jake has coached state, national and international level Olympic Weightlifters.
Jake's athletic career has seen him compete in three main sports over the last 16 years. Pursuing a career in rugby union traveling the world, then starting to compete in CrossFit® and Olympic Weightlifting from 2017. Jake qualified for the Australian Weightlifting team as well as competing in Regional, Sanctionals, Semifinals and an individual CrossFit Games appearance in 2023. Jake has competed at major competitions around the world and truly understands the value of HARD WORK and what it takes to be a competitor in this space.
