Joe Buda
Joe Buda, CFA, currently serves as CFO & COO at HWPO Training, where he oversees the organization’s financial strategy and day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment and efficiency across all business functions. With extensive experience as a corporate development and strategy leader, Joe has successfully managed comprehensive M&A processes, strategic divestitures, and post-acquisition integrations for multi-billion-dollar organizations.
Previously at Essential Utilities and Hartford Mutual Funds, he played a key role in driving strategic growth through acquisitions, financial modeling, and executive stakeholder engagement. Joe holds a MBA from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and is a CFA Charter holder, reflecting his expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational leadership. Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and three young daughters—ages four, three, and one—who keep him on his toes and constantly inspired.
